More hunt-related excitement is expected in the months to come. Here’s what to anticipate from Sea of Thieves Season 15

Sea of Thieves Season 15: Official Launch Trailer
The Hunter’s Call Grows
Who better to spearhead the exploration of the wilder side of life on the Sea of Thieves than The Hunter’s Call? That is the focus of Season 15. Originally debuted with our first Anniversary Update in 2019, this Trading Company distinguishes itself from the others by emphasizing hunting and fishing, as the name would suggest. Delivering fish and meat to The Hunter’s Call representatives at Seaposts or, more lately, to the Sovereigns on their behalf has allowed pirates to reach rank 50 up to this point.
However, The Hunter’s Call experiences a significant expansion starting in Season 15. With the addition of five levels of distinction and an increase in the reputation maximum to 100, it is primarily being brought into line with other trading companies in terms of rating prospects. As a result, you can advance with the company well beyond what was previously feasible and acquire themed cosmetics along the way.
To enhance the loot rewards turned in, you can also decide to hoist a Hunter’s Call Emissary Flag for the first time. However, doing so will make you a target for any Reapers that might be waiting nearby. Simultaneously, new fishing and raid voyages offer chances to go in pursuit of company-specific treasure, such as unique Treasured Fish that have been retrieved from the depths and are poised to make you wealthy.

Megalodon Mutations
New threats to the oceans, such as two dreadful Ancient Megalodons that have crossed across from the Sea of the Damned and are prepared to wreak havoc with powers that make them far more dangerous than the average shark, are growing along with The Hunter’s Call.
Wreathed in flame and armed with a deadly explosive strike, the Feared Redmaw has emerged from the boiling depths to set fire to any ship that ventures too near. You could soon find yourself in the hot seat if you do not keep your water bucket full to deal with fires that break out! These powerful Ocean Crawlers are released onto the decks of invading ships by the armor-plated Barnacled Dread, which torments sailors with Eel-ectric invasions. Block borders while chipping away at the Megalodon’s coral armor with your cannons until you can hit the monster head-on!
Although it is not always simple to find them, these terrifying beasts provide tantalizing rewards if you can defeat them. Hunter’s Call Emissaries have the upper hand in this situation since ships flying a Grade 5 Emissary Flag can use their Map Table to locate Ancient Megalodons and charge into combat.

All This and More
Not every feature of Season 15 will be available at launch to maintain a steady supply of new content! As hinted at in our Season 15 debut trailer, further elements related to the hunting theme will be added in the March and April monthly releases.
You can anticipate using a brand-new, throwable hunting spear that will be very successful in capturing untamed animals over the upcoming months, as well as a sudden increase in the variety of ambient wildlife you will encounter while traveling. After that, a few far more active wild boars will be settling throughout the islands, each with their caches of treasure to guard.
The Hunter’s Call will provide pirates with new Hunting Voyages to help tame the wild local wildlife. These voyages will set them out to hunt a ferocious Grand Boar or follow a raging Megalodon as it wreaks havoc over the waves. When the accompanying updates are available, make sure to dive into each month’s release notes to understand all the changes that will soon be occurring in the seas!
