Today, Cuisineer, a restaurant simulation game and cozy roguelite dungeon crawler, arrives on Xbox, offering players a plethora of new features. There are layers of flavor in this Xbox offering, whether you want to try a new wardrobe for the main character Pom, use new weaponry like the Salt ‘n’ Pepper Shakers while exploring, or use the phonograph to create the ideal atmosphere in your restaurant.
The new seasonal celebrations are one thing I am very eager for you to enjoy. Pom’s hometown of Paell will celebrate eight new festivals with this release, and I am going to set you up to take full advantage of them by emphasizing four festivals today. I will share the goodies you can get for each one and give you a behind-the-scenes peek at some adorable concept art.
Spring Reunion
There are two festivals for each season, and the appropriately named Spring Reunion is held on Spring 9 of each year. The residents of Paell adorn the town and conceal eggs in unexpected locations, all of which are available for discovery. Customers today are craving foods that include eggs, so this is a fantastic chance to get some last-minute supplies before opening your store.
Make sure you have enough money saved up to buy a set of Spring Reunion furniture and the Spring Bunny attire, which local merchants are selling for a short time, if you want to carry these vibrant and upbeat hues into the upcoming seasons.
Fireflame Festival
The Fireflame Festival, which happens on Summer 19, is the summer event I wish to highlight. If you have seen the dishes and mouthwatering food images in this game, you will understand that Cuisineer developers are a tiny team based in Singapore. Another dose of Asian cultural inspiration is provided by the Fireflame Festival.
Since summer is hot, it must be spicy. Customers yearned for dishes made with Flaming Spice and Tasty Spice ingredients throughout this event. Fortunately, you may look for these materials in the town’s Cheelee lanterns. Visit the town at night to see the sky illuminated by fireworks or the discharge of lovely lanterns to make this celebration even more memorable. However, before the event ends, make sure you have time to pick up the Festive Dragon costume and Fireflame restaurant decorations from local vendors.
Harvest Jubilee
A big crop is promised in the fall. The Harvest Jubilee is held on Autumn 7; come see for yourself. Your neighbors have even transformed the fountain in front of your restaurant into a gigantic pumpkin, and the trees of Paell take on an autumnal tinge. Candy is just as vital as harvests. To get some sugar in the form of Sweet Sap ingredients that will be ideal for satisfying the sweet tooth your patrons bring to your restaurant on this particular day, check out the many candy baskets located throughout the town.
The Harvest Jubilee furniture and Farmer costumes from the local merchants will help you maintain the farm-to-table vibe in your restaurant long after fall is done. Fun fact: If you dress up as the Farmer, you will look just like Biscotti, Pom’s best friend.
Solanum Gala
The Solanum Gala, one of the coziest celebrations to date, takes place in Winter 17 to round off the year. A huge Solanum tree stands directly outside your café, and the icy village of Paell is awash in red, green, and white. Yes, you can collect free tomatoes around town, and your clients will continue the color theme by requesting dishes that have red and green tomato ingredients.
The spectacular attire available for purchase is my all-time favorite feature of the Solanum Gala. Use the Nyanta costume to transform Pom into a “Santa kitty.” Pom’s cat ears are fitted by the hood! On this day only, you can get some festive restaurant furnishings for those who like to prolong the holiday season even after the Solanum Gala is over.
